This multiple winner of Tripadvisor's Travellers' Choice Award features wooden furniture designed in-house and a tranquil setting near the forest. The resort provides a meditative atmosphere with its wellness centre and relaxation rooms overlooking the mountains.

Rooms with Matterhorn Views

Each of the two spacious Style double rooms offers views of the Matterhorn, furnished with a sofa and a terrace or balcony. The quadruple room features soundproof walls, a seating area, and a terrace with mountain views. Rooms include hypoallergenic bedding, flat-screen TVs, and private bathrooms with bathtubs and separate showers.

Fresh Local Dining

A rich breakfast is served daily from 7:30 to 10:30 AM, featuring fresh local products and homemade jams. Eggs and coffee are prepared to order, with options like scrambled eggs, espresso, or cappuccino. The lounge bar with an open fireplace offers a relaxing spot after outdoor activities.

Meditative Wellness Centre

The wellness centre includes a sauna, steam room, and relaxation zone with Matterhorn views. Guests can unwind in the zen spa, accompanied by meditative music, or enjoy the small terrace. The spa operates from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM daily.

Proximity to Transport

Alpenlodge is a 10-minute walk from the Sunneggabahn cable car and buses to the Matterhorn cable cars. The train station and Zermatt center are 10-15 minutes away on foot. Transfers to and from the train station are available for guests staying two nights or longer.
